We are a friendly fossil hunting club, and joining us couldn’t be easier. We run fossil hunting trips which are available to anyone for a per person fee, or free to members of UKAFH which works out much cheaper if joining us for more than one event in a year. we have low group numbers enabling a far more personal experience. Leaders are on hand to help encourage the safe and responsible collecting of fossils, which is the main aim of UKAFH.

UKAFH is fully GDPR compliant. When you use our services, you trust us with your data. It is our responsibility to be clear about what we collect and how we use it to make UKAFH work better for you. Your privacy and personal data is important to us. When joining, you will be passed to PayPal who will process your order securely. We do not see, nor store your card details. Your name, email, home address, and telephone number is sent to us by email for the purpose of processing your order and so we can verify on event bookings that your membership is active and send out any Deposits Magazine copies. We then print a copy, and process this data on our SQL database securely. The original paper copy will be shredded by Citrus Security Shredding after 7 months, but held securely in our filing cabinet until then in case of delivery queries. Your email address entered on this page is never passed to any third party for marketing without your explicit consent, but we do add members to our MailChimp mailing list. This is an important part of your membership so we can inform you about events as part of that membership, including new events, member only events which would not be announced anywhere else, event cancellations and event changes. We do not use MailChimp for marketing or advertising of any unrelated products or services. For any physical goods purchased, your name, address, email and contact will be passed to Royal Mail, DPD, FedEx, or other courier for the purpose of delivery or getting in touch regarding delivery related problems or tracking.
